The Art of Singing

One of the things I enjoy  is teaching and mentoring other singers. At the upcoming Worship Boot Camp on Aug 17-18, I am excited to be teaching the The Art Of Singing ……

Come and learn how  to communicate the true message of a song through body language, tonal variations and microphone technique. Learn how to find your voice and style as a soloist as well as discover masterful tips for a blended group sound.                      Here’s a clip from one of those classes on breathing.

As well as The Prophetic Journey in Worship

Does your spirit long for a deeper experience in worship?  Learn how to tap into the supernatural realm that allows you to spontaneously flow with the heart of God. Unlock the door to a greater understanding of Him by learning to use the five senses of the Holy Spirit.

If you want to learn and grow as a vocalist or worship leader, you won’t want to miss these classes. Join us at Grace Center in Franklin, TN on Aug 17 and 18. Register now

  1. Hi Leann! How are you and Carl doing? So excited that you are coming out with a vocal training CD. I will not be in TN at all, I live near Niagara Falls, Buffalo, New York area, but I was wondering if you will be making it available to the rest of us who cant be in your workshop? My husband & I lead our worship team and I am also an alto, and SUPER excited about what you are doing in TN. We have talked with you guys over the years at different events, and really feel a kindred spirit witht the both of you. Looking forward to hearing from you about the CD!!! Thanks so much! God Bless

    • Hi Nancy,
Maybe one day we will be in your area and can do a workshop there. In the meantime, I would be happy to send you a work out CD. It is an excellent way to stay in shape vocally. Steve Bowersox has done a great job putting it together. His teaching materials are called Vocal Aerobics. The workout CDs are availalbe in Med-Low for altos and baritones and Med-High for sopranos and tenors. I don’t have them on my website at this point, however, if you would like to order one, tell me which range you need and I will send it to you.

      • Hey Leann. You know, I am not EXACTLY sure which cd I would need. Maybe I should get one of each? I have been told in the past by a teacher of music, that according to my voice, he said I am definetly a tenor. Then the people on our worship team told me I was def. an alto. Then the lady that teaches singing with CMT had me go up the scale with her to see, and she said I had a huge singing range, but she could tell I was more comfortable in the lower end. She said she would be wlling to help me sing in the higher end more comfortably by SKYPE, but I never hooked up with her. I know thats alot, but do you have any suggestions for me? Geesh, wish we lived closer. Thanks, I would appreciate any feedback. Have a great day!! Nancy
