Kerr Family Marinade

BBQThis is a family recipe from my dear friend, Carey. It’s a great marinade for any meat on the grill and is a hit every time I use it!

You will be deemed a gourmet cook when you and your guests take the first bite.

Enjoy!

The Kerr Family Marinade

1 ½ cup olive oil
¾ cup soy sauce
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
2 T. dry mustard
2 ¼ t. salt
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1 T. pepper
½ cup wine vinegar
1 ½ t. dried parsley
6 cloves crushed garlic

(For salmon or any fish, I add 1 tablespoon powdered ginger to the marinade)

Take the meat out of marinade and cook on a grill or roast in the oven, uncovered, at 350. Baste as necessary.

When using beef, pork or chicken, the meat can soak in the marinade as long as overnight. When using fish, do not marinade more than 3 hours. For less mess, I use a gallon zip lock bag for the marinating.

This recipe may be cut in half for smaller quantities of meat.

    • Hi Ken…when do you want to start shooting for the cooking show? I haven’t stopped thinking about it since we talked a few weeks ago.
      Bless you!

  2. This is the best marinade I’ve ever had…excellent on salmon, chicken, and I recently tried it on pork ribs, Memorial Day…outstanding. I refer to this often!
