Gourmet Hot Oatmeal
A healthy breakfast never tasted so good!
1 ¾ Cup milk ( I use unsweetened almond milk)
¾ cup raisins
pinch of sea salt
Put in saucepan on the stove – heat but do not boil milk then add:
1 Cup of Regular Old Fashioned Oatmeal (not instant)
Cook on low heat for about 10 minutes…until the milk is absorbed into the oatmeal.
Stir often so the oatmeal does not stick and burn.
Spoon into bowls – then I add more cold milk to create a mote around the pile of oatmeal.
Sweeten with Stevia, honey or brown sugar.
Optional toppings:
toasted nuts – pecans, sliced almonds or walnuts
cinnamon
ground flax seed
lecithin granules
