Breakthrough From Depression

BREAKTHROUGH FROM DEPRESSION By Leann Albrecht Many times, when we can share our weaknesses, struggles and breakthroughs, our testimony carries that same power to bring breakthrough for others. We don’t always know what goes on behind the scenes in the lives of successful leaders. However, I want to encourage you that the same struggles that are “common to all”, are truly “common to all.”  The one truth that keeps me anchored in our ever-changing lives is that God helps everyone who … [Read more...]

Rafferty’s Creamy Potato Soup

"Comfort" comes in many forms. For me, food is one of them. This soup, that Jim and Marla Huskey brought over while I was sick, was the best I have ever tasted.  I was almost "healed" by the first bite!  LOL! You will love it!! RAFFERTY'S CREAMY POTATO SOUP From Marla Huskey 7-8 medium potatoes, peeled and diced 1 medium onion or scallions - chopped 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, cubed 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of celery soup 1/2 - 3/4 stick butter 1 1/2 cups … [Read more...]

Squash Blossoms

I had heard about fried squash blossoms for years but never tried them until this summer. Since I compost our garden spot during the year, there are lots of "volunteer" plants that come up. This summer, I had an abundance of squash coming up every where. Literally, they were taking over the garden! So one morning I pulled out some of the biggest vines which were full of blossoms. I pitched the vines and pulled off the huge blossoms and put them in the skillet. Wow was I surprised!  What a … [Read more...]

Training To Reign

REIGNING WITH CHRIST - IS IT POSSIBLE HERE ON EARTH? By Leann Albrecht Recently, the Word of God is more alive to me than ever before. As His nuggets of revelation tumble out of the pages and into my spirit, I am compelled to share them with you. They are changing my life and my perspective of it. I pray that they do the same for you. In a time of history where "news" is generally bad news and positive news rarely reaches our ears, let me be a voice that brings GOOD NEWS and speaks LIFE … [Read more...]

Is God’s Grace Really Sufficient?

Is God's Grace Really Sufficient? By Leann Albrecht With all due respect to those of differing opinions concerning the recent debates over the subject of GRACE, I want to speak from my personal experience. It's something to dance about!!   So many believers have focused their “salvation” on KEEPING THE LAW (the 10 Commandments).  I did it for years. We even have several Ten Commandment pictures hanging in our home. But you know how I felt every time I read them?  Guilty and … [Read more...]

It’s So Simple!!

My Testimony Of Leading A Hindu To The Lord By Leann Albrecht I had heard about the Gideons and have seen their Bibles in hotel rooms all my life. However, I had never actually met a Gideon before the Gideon’s International Convention in Dallas last July where I was asked to lead worship for the ladies Auxiliary group. I didn’t know much about the organization, but as the weekend went on, I was inspired by their passion for souls and the testimonies of thousands who were saved because of the … [Read more...]

Dill Dip

Spring is here! The weather is warming up so we can fire up the grill and eat outside with family and friends. I always like to have fresh veggies when throwing a party. They add the crunch and  color factor to any table and plate. This Dill Dip is a family recipe from my friend Marla Husky who was so kind to share it with me. I think you will flip over it as much as I did.       DILL DIP By Marla Husky Mix the following ingredients together in a bowl until … [Read more...]
